Everything and more.
Our family could not have had a better time. Mr. Doll treated our grandchildren as his own. The kids were allowed to help feed the horses and we all enjoyed the spacious and well-kept home. We sat on the front porch every chance we got to take in the view and listen to the sounds of the farm. Thank you, Sue and Jim.

Lovely location; spacious, comfortable home
This is a beautiful and fully-equipped spacious home overlooking the pastures and barns of a well-kept horse farm and backing up to an Audubon bird sanctuary. The hosts, Jim and Sue Doll, were gracious and helpful and even invited us to visit the barn, help with the feeding, and take a riding lesson if we wished. The house itself was wonderfully comfortable, with four bedrooms and a mattress selection with enough choices to meet the needs of even the Goldilocks in our group. This is a nonsmoking home, but the owners thoughtfully provided a sitting area in the garage and ashtrays on the porch for smokers. Lots of extras are provided for families with children and pets: strollers and high chairs for babies and food bowls and even extra food and a crate if needed for a dog. We so enjoyed the bottle of wine from a local winery that was offered as a welcome gift that we made a trip to the winery to buy more to bring home. We had a fabulous time and will definitely return.

Relaxing stay at Above All Else Windsong
My wife and kids traveled from MI to the area for a wedding. We stayed at this property with my family from NY and friends from AZ and their children. It was the perfect setting to catch up with loved ones, and allowed for the children to run and play. The property was scenic and the home was extremely clean. The owners of the property were kind, helpful, and professional. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great Getaway During Coronavirus
This house and the area were perfect for a long weekend getaway. After months at home, we were looking for a change of scenery and to avoid crowds. We enjoyed the house, the farm, all the nearby parks, and the winery. Staying here offered a much needed change of pace for our family.

Rolling hills.
Our family enjoyed the whole experience. My grandkids learned how to ride horses for the first time, my wife and older children also enjoyed being able to ride such beautiful and well cared for horses. Everyone at the farm was extremely friendly and patient. Jim and Sue have a great team in Jennie and Zack. We look forward to another return in the future.

Wonderful place, clean, relaxing, fun!
This house was spacious, very clean, with wonderful views. We are not horse people, but who doesn’t smile to have beautiful horses in your front porch view? The owners were very friendly, and we plan to at least check out the barns on our next visit! The back porch was a wonderful place to watch the wildlife and listen to the birds. We saw a Fox, a woodchuck, two deer, a giant rabbit, and numerous beautiful birds. The fence backs up to the Audubon Sanctuary and was a delight to wander in, taking long walks. This is the first place I have been to, that I plan to revisit. It was delightful and is close to a couple of charming small towns and of course within easy travel distance to Baltimore and Gettysburg. You really should stay here, just a really fun relaxing place to be. I wish I could give it 10 stars and give you photos!

Beautiful Views, plenty of space
The porch views of the sunrise over the distant mountains , and of the summer green rolling hills and horses of WindSong Arabian Farm are gorgeous. The comfortable home with charming country decor has plenty of space with 4 bedrooms, 2 upstairs with attached bathrooms, spacious closets, a separate bath downstairs by the king bedroom, and 2 interior sitting areas (great for families or groups). The smaller back sitting area features sliding doors to a porch with lovely views of the forest. The kitchen was well stocked for food preparation, and features plentiful dining seating with a breakfast size and 2nd larger dining table. The home features central air, and ceiling fans in the bedrooms as well, for very comfortable summer temperatures. There were darling homemade soaps waiting in the bathrooms, and owner’s Sue and Jim were friendly and easy to reach by phone. We were about 40 minutes drive to the Full Moon Farms for a horse competition, but the views and comforts of “Above All Else” vacation home at WindSong Arabian Farms was worth the drive. Our daughter loved getting to help feed the horses one morning. We only wish we’d had time to take dressage lessons with Sue. Having owned 4 VRBO’s ourselves, we found this to be an A+ experience, and look forward to returning. Recommended for any single family, multiple family, singles or couples stay of any ages who would love a peaceful location, and comfortable home with beautiful views in the gently rolling hills of Mount Airy. The nature views and tranquility on the farm would probably be worth even the drive back and forth to Baltimore depending on your activities planned.
