Double beds are single beds
- Our standard room was super warm, airless and sticky (no windows!)
- Super loud hallway you hear starting very early in the morning
- We booked a standard room with a double bed. What we got is a bed by far smaller than a queen size bed with 2 pillows on it (rather a single bed). We talked with the manager who did not care. Then we talked with the booking agency who called the manager again. He explained the the booking agency that in Mexico double beds start at 1 m width. The booking agency could not do anything, as somehow the term double bed is country specific (in Germany it is 1.80 m, we got not more than 1.20 m) - so us being both taler than 1.8m had to sleep in a tiny bed, which was super uncomfortable.
- We got a room on the 5th floor, the elevator did not work
- Around the hotel there is hardly anything to do
- the hotel does not answer to online messages
- pillows are so soft that you nearly feel like sleeping without pillows
- gym was closed when we arrive
- impossible to swim in the pool (rather 2 combined little pools with a platform in the middle with only a few cm water)
- the air in the hallways is humid, hot and sticky
- strong artificial smell all over the building
+ room has a safe
