4/10 – Ziemlich gut

Für den Preis braucht man nicht viel erwarten. Man sollte keine Ansprüche haben, dann stören einen viele Dinge nicht. Die „Zimmertüren“ werden geknallt, dass man jedes Mal direkt aufschreckt. Die Größe der Toilettenkabine ist für kleine zierliche Menschen schon sehr grenzwertig. Sauberkeit ist fehlt am Platz, liegt aber eher daran, wie die Frauen das Bad verlassen. Die Armaturen haben schon bessere Tage erlebt, wackelt ruckelt und wirkt sehr lose. Das Zimmer, oder wie ich es nenne, der Bunker. Koffer kann unter dem Bett verstaut es werden, ansonsten war’s des dann auch schon mit dem Platz. Die Matratze ist durchgelegen und ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob ein Lattenrost o.Ä. vorhanden war. Auf jeden Fall mit Ohrstöpsel & Schlafmaske schlafen, kann man am Empfang kostenlos erhalten.

You basically pay the price for the location. The room is only for a small bed. You could hear all the sounds of the whole floor, no noise canceling.

Paid to stay in a prison
I will try to point out everything thats wrong and why i wouldnt recommend to anyone. Its basically a shared room with 30 people you just have a door. Which honestly makes things worse. The ceiling of your cell is open to really give it a jail feel. So its basically one big room with a lot of people in it separated by thin walls. The place feels unfinished as the renovation for the building has been done at a typical new york landlord fashion - just paint over everything with an extra large paintbrush. Lamp in the cell barely works and is probably a hazard. Bathrooms are cold, rooms are cold. I slept with the earplugs and noise cancelling headphones but still didnt sleep well. The fact that everyone has a door and your “neighbour” uses their door sounds the same as if they were at your door, very nerve wracking. The bed is very smal, if you are taller than an average woman you wont fit. The mattress was also bad and had a crater in the middle.

Perfectly fine .. door slamming not funny
The Hostel Was Perfectly Fine the only Criticism i have as Regarding about the Noise levels i think its ridiculous that u can be fined £100 and asked to vacate the property even thought all the door locks and slammi g of the doors isnt quiet and had actually ruined my sleep for the 2 nights ... with constant banging of doors at 7-8am

Exceeded expectations
Booked a last minute trip to NY during Christmas, and this was all I could find that wasn't $1k+ a night, so I wasn't expecting to much. This place is awesome. The room was much better than I thought, yeah the ceilings are open, but it's whatever. I LOVED the septate men's and women's floors it made me feel very safe. The line for the bathrooms gets a little crowded in the am, but it's whatever. The location is perfect! I walked around and solo at all different times and always felt safe. It's like a 5 min walk to Little Italy, and like 10 mins to China Town. Nice and clean, very cute decor.

Freezing, Noisy, and Uncomfortable Stay
I had a very unpleasant stay at this hotel. The room had a wooden lattice ceiling, which meant I could hear everything from the neighboring room—including my neighbor snoring all night. It was extremely noisy and lacked privacy. There was only one women’s toilet for the entire floor. The room was also extremely cold. The only blanket provided was thin, and there was no proper duvet. I spent the entire night freezing. To make matters worse, the emergency door/window was left open.

Tout s’est très bien passé, j’ai resté que 4 jours en total, 3 nuits. Le service d’équipe était très satisfaisant. Les gens qui mettent les commentaires en colères c’est que vous n’avez pas compris le concept d’hostel. Je pense que pour un budget abordable pour un sécurité comme Nolita, on peut pas trop en trouver dans les grandes villes comme à NY.

its okay for a hostel and low price
It was very clean. I was on the 4th but spent time on the 3rd. The male person that worked did come into the womens area, and looked at me crazy when i told him it was womens only. It was rude (dark skin black guy with short twist hair). I would stay here again if I couldnt find anyplace else. Didnt like the 4 flights of stairs no elevators, but all was doable.

Stay Away - Book Elsewhere
I was charged an extra $50 at check in. The co-ed "rooms" are a hallway row of padlocked closets with a "mattress" on a steel bed frame. The ceiling is lattice fence covered in burlap material. There is no noise/ talking & headphones must be used on devices or be charged a $100 noise fee. No food or drink allowed in "room". The common area is folks sleeping in chairs and sofa to be out of their claustrophobic enclosures. The mens bathroom has 1 toilet stall which is ironically larger than your room. Next to it are 2 narrow shower spaces with thin plastic curtains across from two small sinks and 2 small mirrors. Absolutely no privacy especially when theres a line behind you or your having to wait in line. Book at another hostel/ hotel. This one is noth woth the time or money

Great stay!
I’ve stayed in several hostels and this one far exceeded my expectations. The smallness of the room was totally fine! Bathrooms always clean. Nice kitchen was also clean. Felt very safe there. Loved being on the female only floor. Comfortable sitting in the living room in my pajamas!

Entregam exatamente o que se propõe, são alojamentos para dormir, com pouco espaço para a mala. O banheiro estava sempre limpo, nunca tive problema para banho. O ponto baixo, foi a cama, pois o colhao era pessimo. Cozinha e áreas comuns sempre limpas e organizadas.

SOLO TRAVEL ON A BUDGET.
PRO: Great for solo travelers. It was the cheapest I found during New Years week. The front desk & virtual staff were very friendly. It was safe. Great location. Very homie feel. CON: the room was a literal box. The beds are too small. If you have big luggage you can’t move it around. The bathroom was dirty at times.

This was my first time staying at a hostel. I liked the option for an affordable rate, and really liked how the common areas were decorated as well as the entertainment provided in the lobby. The only issue I had was that the bathrooms could have provided more soap, shampoo, and washcloths for their guests. I assumed that would be available, however it was only one bottle of soap/shampoo in the showers (that was empty) and a single bath towel.
