Almost excellent
The hotel is a traditional beautiful stately home with a lovely spa. The meal in the Brasserie was the best I have had in a long time and the service was great at the restaurant bar and throughout the hotel.
Some parts of the hotel have been renovated and others have not leaving it looking a little tired.
Our beautiful room had a leak in the ceiling and we had to move on day two as a result. We were left to do this by ourselves and didn't like the new room quite so much. Perhaps if we had been helped and given an upgrade, as the hotel was not full, this would have made the hotel stay overall excellent.
Nonetheless, I do recommend the hotel and facilities and would visit again.
