I recently spent the weekend at the bungalow in Plunge and had a relaxing time overall. The room was functional, and the best part was the easy access to the beach, making it perfect for a beachside getaway. We particularly enjoyed the bar, Backflip, where the service was friendly and the atmosphere lively—definitely our favorite spot.
Dining options were limited, with only the coffee shop Bean and barnacle, and a breakfast spot, Octopus, but the food at both was tasty. However, I did feel a bit disappointed with a couple of things. We were charged a parking fee, which felt unnecessary, and the tables in Backflip could have been wiped down better after guests had finished their meals.
All in all, the experience was great, and I’d give it 4 out of 5 stars. Despite these small issues, we had a lovely time at Plunge and would definitely consider returning!
