A cozy little hotel next to Bastille sq. - really good connections to public transport (no parking, though). Vélib rent-a-bike also one corner away. Many restaurants in the neighborhood from traditional french, italian, to turkish. Carrefour supermarket also a corner away. The staff in general speaks english, and are very nice to the guests. The single-bed room is tiny, no problem for one person but two people will have to plan their moves (you went to Paris to see the sights, not to lay around in the hotel room!). The hotel has 5 floors and there is an elevator. Little unusual for me but you have to leave your "key" at the reception desk everytime you leave for the city. No big deal. The Google streetview shows the hotel front with 2 stars, that is not true, this is a 3-star hotel with a 24hr reception. Only for hungarians: my OTP non-embossed MasterCard worked without a hitch when paying the bill.
