We had a lovely stay, our room was room number 8 which is a front facing room overlooking the main road lined with beautiful trees and great for car spotting. Road noise was minimal and the only real noise was Emergency Services which in 3 days was around 3 times.
The room was fair spaced for 2 people, bathroom is tiny but useable and immaculate, Bed was immaculate and comfortable with hotel quality pillows, mattress protector, sheet, loose sheet and duvet. Beautiful deep red and gold runner and scatter cushions. One chair, footstool, hairdryer, kettle, cups, bottled waterx2, glasses, biscuits and pan au chocolat x2, hand soap, shampoo and body wash supplied too. We were surprised as some reviews for this hotel had made us question our choice but we were happy to stay and felt well looked after.
Only fair to mention there was a few cosmetic damages that had been repaired and didn’t affect functionality of the room.
We sadly didn’t get to try breakfast as we overslept and then we also weren’t sure of where to go but should we get the chance to go to London again we will book the ABC and make use of the breakfast area.
Staff were lovely, super informative and even labelled everything on an extremely helpful map.
Key has to be left behind when you go out, which we weren’t keen on doing but it was easy to collect as main office is manned all hours.
Windows were dressed lovely and the room was neutral. Wish we’d been able to stay longer.
