Simply the best

Having seen some mixed reviews before booking I was a little concerned but this is a great hotel representing real value for money. We had a studio room with a kitchenette that had everything you could possibly want and all the décor and equipment seemed new. The pool and communal areas were spotlessly clean and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Happy hour drinks and the pool bar menu were very reasonably priced. In terms of the negative comments I had previously read in reviews, I didn't think the members who own properties on the site made others feel like second class citizens. They clearly know each other but that is to be expected and we experienced no hard selling from reps. There is some reserving of sunbeds before the pool opens but there is room for everyone so it wasn't really an issue. I had seen reviews about a local vagrant and friends keeping people whose room overlooked a certain street awake at night and I believe there is some truth in this, as I had seen him when out walking and the man in front of me at reception was complaining about this as we waited to check out. We, however, couldn't fault the location of our room (220) which was very quiet and had a great pool view. Overall this was an excellent stay and I would definitely return. The hotel is just across the road from the beach and there are plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Sunset Beach Club. We were surprised by the animation team. We weren't expecting them to be there but they provided fun activities throughout our stay. As probably the youngest couple there, we probably enjoyed the band Crush more that the majority. The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and the food was a very good price, as was the beer (€1), spirits and mixed drinks however were quite pricey, although the measures were anything but stingy. The only problem we had was that the gate to access our roof (external apartment)was locked and we were told that all gates were locked due to litigation. However, we could see that all the internal apartments gates were open. There is a sign that says "use at your own risk". This sign might be better served while allowing access to the roof as climbing over the gate is infinitely more dangerous. All in all, we had a great time and would definitely recommend Royal Sunset Beach Club to our friends.

I had a very nice stay here,the staff were friendly and attentive,especially the staff in the bars and restaurant,who were excellent.I will recommend this place to my friends,and will probably return myself.The price of beer at €1 a pint was a bonus,as you generally only find this on the front,where there is a lot of competition.The standard and price of food in the restaurant was very good too,all in all I had a great stay here.
