Took 2 steps in the door, cancelled, and left. Stains all over the "upgraded" room. We had a late night arrival, and the "on call" staff member came down after 20 minutes of standing outside, came down in plain clothes, and checked me in. Went to the room, looked at it, and turned around and gave her the key back. She said she'd cancel the stay, but never did. Working on it now with Hotels.com customer service.
