The location is great for walking to Little Italy, USS Midway, Maritime Museum, and the waterfront. There's a trolly stop right there too. That's a mixed blessing since the trolly and maybe some trains have signals, bells, whistles, etc making a lot of noise throughout the night. Earplugs helped but were not sufficient to fully block the bells and horns. They were obnoxiously loud, long, and persistent.
The hotel elevators were being serviced while we were there. I don't know when that will be finished, but the current state is that you have to wait a while for an elevator, they reduced the limit of how many people can go in, and in spite of the reduced limit, the elevators rattle around quite a bit.
