The room was tiny, but with a very comfortable big double bed with very nice linens. Some rooms face onto interior atrium, with light-diffusing blinds. I had thought this was a disadvantage, but there was little noise and it actually improved air circulation. There was decent air conditioning or air cooling, which was appreciated. Breakfast buffet is a bit nicer than usual, if not enormous -- cereals, choice of fresh breads, a local specialty cake, and good selection of coffees/teas, some fruit, juice, etc. Location is great if you're coming/going by train. There is no real ''ambiance'' but bathroom was clean with plenty of shelf space, bed comfy, I slept well -- and the room service tarte flambee was one of the best I've tasted. So -- pricey, because Strasbourg is when full -- but decent.
