The hotel reeked of urine throughout the elevator and outside my room. The toilet was filthy, and the lights, heating, were all broken. Sheets were stained. I had booked two rooms, and both had a horrible carpet smell. The entire hotel was filthy. This hotel is supposed to be the Wyndham, but it doesn’t even deserve that name. The front desk employees couldn’t even speak English.
I arrived at the front desk to discuss my issues and requested a refund for the second night, not even the first. I would have gladly accepted the loss to avoid staying there. However, they refused, claiming that the booking was through Hotels.com and that they couldn’t help me. They even refused to pass on my request to their boss to clean the outside of the hotel with soap and water to eliminate the urine smell.
The elevator not only smelled but was also covered in duct tape. The owner of this hotel should be ashamed of themselves and only cares about money, not customer service or cleanliness. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel and spending your money elsewhere. I was only there for 10 minutes, but I lost what was worth booking for two nights in two rooms. I couldn’t bring myself to stay any longer due to the overwhelming smell of urine and mold.
