we stayed 9 days at the hotel and very satisfied. since we stayed there for a relatively long time, the staff offered us another more silent room with windows to the courtyard than the one we were first assigned to and let us chose between both rooms. staff was always very friendly and obliging, asked us whether everything was fine about our stay, explained patiently the way to metro, train or bus stations and I'm sure they would have known very well where to get the best meals around if we were in need of such information. ;) they helped us carry our luggage, offered umbrellas when it was rainy, lent us several items (scissors was needed two times), let us use their printer and engaged in friendly smalltalk (which we always found a bit cute due to the french accent, though every staff member was able to speak english fluently). the rooms were a bit small but sufficent and not smaller than the average hotel room in Paris. rooms were also very clean and comfortable in a modern way. wifi was very helpful, easy to get access to and caused no problems for ipad/iphone. versatile selection for breakfast compared to french standards. location was very central though not directly in the core of the city centre (still very good transport connection). but you had everything you need in reach, tons of bistros and restaurants, super markets (we would recommend the Monoprix close to Gare Montparnasse) and very close to the lovely jardin du luxembourg, the perfect place for a picnic.
