Rooms are clean and spacious like the rest of the hotel. Nice gym (which probably nobody except us was using during our stay).
The disappointment came next morning: the breakfast is a plastic/waste battle! Coming from Europe, we were quite shocked that cutlery and tableware were made solely out of plastic and styrofoam! Additionally, the whole buffet except bananas, apples and some pastries was packed in plastic, too. After having finished, we had produced more waste than we would have at home in a whole day!
We have been the only non-american guests in the breakfast room and it was obvious that everyone else was used to that circumstance.
Same is with the appearance of the guests: two of them didn't even wear shoes and stood barefooted next to us at the toaster! Have never seen this before! Nobody else seemed to take notice, especially not the staff of the hotel.
After all, I would still recommend this hotel. We had dinner in The Tannery as well and were extremely satisfied there, too!
