2-bed Suite was Perfect for overnight stay
Check in with Pebbles was very simple and efficient. The two-bed suite was perfect for an overnight for my friend and I. The shower pressure was lacking, but the bathroom having an exhaust fan was great (I feel like the latter is few and far between nowadays.)

Would stay again
Had a wonderful time here, the place was clean, the breakfast buffet was lovely. The only down side is the neighborhood which is sketchy, but aside from that i would 100% rebook.

I wouldn’t stay here again.
The hotel was clean and you could smell the cleanliness walking in. The room was nice. The problem we came across was lack of security. There was a group of people hanging out outside our room until close to 4:30am. They were laughing, playing music loudly, and talking/shouting loudly. Around 3am a car left after revving their engine. We did not feel safe calling to have the people moved and feared retaliation. Around 4am the smell of pot was wafting through our door. Once 4:30am came around, the group of people dispersed, but music continued to play loudly from their room. When mentioned to the front desk at check out we were told security didn’t mention it and he would ask them. I did not feel safe enough during this stay and spent most of the night awake making sure there wasn’t an incident while our children were asleep. I cannot recommend staying at a hotel that does not have constant security patrolling to enforce quiet hours and one that has such a lack of concern when told about a situation.

Room and shuttle smelled of smoke
I’m not a hotel snob by any means but I would not stay here again. Our room smelled like smoke. The shuttle van reeked of smoke and the place didn’t feel clean. The service was amazing. Super friendly lady at the front desk. Good location and free shuttle but not a great hotel.

Still waiting on my refund. Room was disgusting.
This place is a disaster. Booked a room, walked in, slipped and almost fell immediately. It smelled like mold, had flies everywhere and felt like they had a humidifier on inside the room. Needless to say, I didn’t stay. Hotels.com said they had to issue a refund and for the past month I’ve been chasing them for it. Lily referred me to Monier who said I had to wait for Andy. Enough is enough. Charging me $194.74 for a room I didn’t stay in and almost injured myself in is insane. Constant “we’ll call you back” responses with no call back. This is ridiculous.

Gloom and Doom
The city of Detroit was an awesome town to visit during my business trip. Unfortunately, the hotel we stayed at is in shambles. Trash overflowing in the trash bins, the exterior of the building looks like a cellblock in a prison. We stayed for three nights and kept getting locked out of the room. Had to get keys magnetized everyday. You have to cross your fingers and hope the water is hot in the morning. The constant weed smoking smell is continuous and annoying. The name of the hotel should definitely be changed. "Quality" is not advertised here very well at all!

Poor customer service and needs updating
We stayed here after a concert for one night. It was… a place to stay, I guess. The doors to the rooms are accessible outside. I did not realize this upon booking, or I would have kept looking because I do not like this setup. The only window to the room was a huge one next to the door so while we were trying to get ready for said concert we had many people looking in at us as they walked to their own rooms. The room had a lot of wear and tear that gave it a run-down feel. The cleanliness was meh. There were two sinks in the room and one of the sinks sprayed out onto the counter while turned on. The sheets and pillows were very soft and comfy. We tried to call the front desk and the phone didn’t work. Breakfast was very minimal choices - two types of cereal, one waffle maker, and some bagels. Two of us made waffles and then found that the syrup packets were out so we went to the front desk to ask for more and the guy working there disappeared with two other guys. We waited for 10mins before giving up and eating dry waffles. While eating breakfast in our room (the lobby is small) the front desk guy with the two guys came to the door and asked to come in to work on the tv connection. We let the technician in and he was trying to fix something that had been done poorly by management. Another guy came and asked to come in so I asked who he was and he then said he was the manager. The manager argued with the technician in front of us about the shoddy work. Wish we stayed elsewhere

Spiders
It wasn’t awful. The room seemed okay other than the small bed (my fault for booking the wrong room). But my god the spiders that were outside the rooms will give me nightmares

The sheets and towels were lovely and clean. The rest of the room was not. The air con was noisy and was ineffective. The accessibitly to downtown was great but the immediate surrounding area was not the best.
