We recently stayed at this hotel and had a good experience overall. The first room we were given had quite a small bed and wasnât quite right for us, but reception were very helpful and moved us to another room without any fuss.
The bathroom was well-equipped â it had everything youâd need, and the shower was genuinely amazing. Good pressure, nice toiletries provided too. Just a note: the bathroom isnât very soundproof, so if youâre staying with someone, make sure you know them well!
The beds were very comfortable, and the pillows too â we both slept well. Thereâs also a hairdryer, a safe, tea and coffee facilities in the room, which was great.
The location is absolutely fantastic â not even a 10-second walk to St. Maryâs Street and Mill Lane, and just steps from the train station. Despite being so close, we didnât hear the trains at all, so itâs super central but still quiet.
We were checked in by Andy and Jack, who were just outstanding. They were so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable throughout our stay â couldnât have asked for better service.
Just to set expectations: this isnât a Sheraton in the traditional sense. Itâs more like a budget version â still good quality, clean, and comfortable, but the rooms are quite compact and may not match what some people expect from the Sheraton brand.
There was also security on duty at night, and the hotel felt very safe and peaceful.
Weâd definitely return â next time, weâd just book a bigger room from the start. Overall, a
