The hotel ist located a few steps away from the metro-station (Tozai Line). From there its a 7-station-ride (15min) to Otematchi Station, which is a 5min walk from Tokio Station. But during rush-hour (7-9am) I found it almost impossible to enter the trains towards downtown Tokio. In this time I found it easier to walk 30min to the next JR station through a park-like area, as the trains from there where less crowded.
Around the hotel there are plenty of restaurants, conbinis and shops.
The hotel has 9 floors. In every floor were irons, ironing boards and vending machines (drinks) available. In the second floor there was also coin laundry (3x washing Maschine (300Yen/washing), 3x dryer (100Yen/30min)). Laundry detergents can be bought in a drugstore on the other side of the street. In the first floor was a restaurant, and a hairdresser, which I both didn't use.
The checkin and checkout procedure went very smoothly, English was no problem for communication. As I got upgraded to a twin room (semi-double booked), I found the room very spacious. The bathroom was the typical plastic version in beige color. Not too spacious, but at least that spacious, that I could sit on the toilet and still close the door. ;-)
The room was very clean and equipped with an aircon, humidifier, TV, tablet and a small fridge. While the carpet was already older, the mattress was quite new and two tempur-like pillows were provided.
