The woman who checked us in was rude. Initially, I was thinking of asking for a second day, but after my interaction with her, I decided not to. The room was nice. The refrigerator was really cute. The bathroom door was a little scary. I kept expecting it to crush my fingers. Luckily it didn't. The bed and pillows were VERY comfortable. The shower was not entirely clean. I counted five hairs in it that did not belong to me or my daughter. The man at the desk when I was checking out was very nice.
According to Hotels.com, I was not going to be charged for my stay until the end. However, 9 days before I even checked in, The Kingston charged my card for the full amount. When I asked about it, I was told that they don't do that. They always charge beforehand. I was also told that the hold on my room to cover damages would be $50, however she charged my card $100. I did not inquire about this due to her rudeness.
