The hotel is located in a charming building about 20 minutes from the historic city centre. Very friendly staff all around. We liked the breakfast and enjoyed the happy hour with wine, beer and snacks that is being held every day. The room was clean.
Unfortunately, our toilet broke one evening during our stay and would no longer flush. The issue could not be resolved (even though the friendly night staff attempted to fix it) so we resorted to using a public bathroom down the hall for said evening, the night and the following morning, which was somewhat inconvenient as we had to get dressed for our bathroom outings during the night. The toilet was fixed during the following day. As we were paying about EUR 300/night, I would have expected the issue to be brought up afterwards by management and/or reflected in the invoice but neither happened.
