Booking for 14 days was confirmed 4 months before the trip, after a hard day of travelling (1100 km, 12 hours) the booking has been cancelled by the hotel (priority given to a travel group) without prior notice to me or - as a minimum requirement of politeness and fairness - arranging an appropriate replacement. Thus, only 2 nights have been offered in a situation, where 96 % of hotels in the area were complete.
The room was very small, the pictures give the impression that they are bigger.
Cleanliness - specifically of the bathroom - was limited. The wardrobe was so small (width per person less than 40 cm), so it is not feasible, to store clothes for more than 3 days.
The staff was not very helpfull, I exspect much more help (luggage transport etc.) in a house assessed with **** (4!). Since 40 years I'm travelling round the globe, but this was the worst 4* hotel ever.
Breakfast: So far OK, but obviously the waiter had a bad night and was doing a lot of noise when he moved chairs, opened and closed cupboards and cleaned up the dishes.
Generally I cannot understand, why this hotel is assessed with 4*. The name "Qualys" promises quality, this promise is not kept.
