Came to Demopolis for a funeral and had to stay in Selma. The Hampton inn was very nice and the breakfast was very good. When we come back we will stay there.

My original time to check in was 3:00 we had to sit in the lobby for 3 hours because our rooms wasn’t ready ! This was so frustrating

Bad customer service
I made reservations on this site l didn’t read anything about having to pay a $250 deposit when l checked in, therefore when l got to the hotel to check in the lady gets my info & tells me l will have to pay a $250 deposit because l live here😡. I explained to her l have death in the family & was getting the room not for me but for my out of town relatives to stay. She ignores me & basically say you still have to pay the $250 because the people around here trashes the rooms. Once again l explained this is for bereavement not to party! She’s still telling me to tell them don’t trash the room. So l called my husband to come up because l didn’t have a problem with the policy but she was just very nasty to me with telling me about it. After talking to her supervisor everything was taking care of after being there an hour.

Tracy and the rest of the staff were great. We have no complaints, service was extraordinary, breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. I recommend this hotel and will stay again in the future.
