It felt like they did not really appreciate and vaöue their guests. The hotel is more like an event venue and they also seem to prioritize that over paying guests. As an example, the pool was closed early twice during my 5 nights stay. They have pool parties every weekend, which was ok since I guess as it was not too busy so I was able to have a sunbed anyway (otherwise they prioritize pool party people) They do not have any shower etc. facilities for guests to use in case flight back is late and check out has to be done. They do have an outdoor shower, but in my departure date the pool was closed at 12am (which they did not tell me even when I specifically asked about the outdoor shower and that I want to use it) They also did not let me check the bill when checking out (drinks I ordered during the stay etc) they just gave me the receipt and as I was reviewing it they said ”oh, its charged already on your card” I’ve never experienced that hotel wont let you check the bill before charging!
As said, it seems they are just funding the instagram worthy event venue with room charges but guests dont really matter to them. Also, rooms are nit cheap.
Location is good and room was good (for 1 person, coz tiny)
Some of the stuff was very friendly and polite, not all of them.
I actually ended up spenging 2 days by the pool and beach at Fontainebleau, and I felt valued even if I did nor pay for the room.
