The staff were excellent.
Room was very cold and took long time to heat it up.
This room No: 209 which we were in is standing write on the exhaust fan of the hotel generator. We woke up with smelling exhaust gas in our room. This smell spread all the way to the other side , sitting room as well. Even the windows were fully closed, the fumes come inside and cause un breathable situation. We evacuated the room immediately in a hurry.
The receptionist were very helpful and comforted us.
Apparently, this exhaust gas goes up once a week, for about an hour. Unfortunately, it goes into this room.
We returned to room, at 2 pm . The smell was slightly still in the living area of the room since there is not ventilation in that room.
The exhaust stack should go all the way up to the roof. Unfortunately, this stack stays right next to the balcony of our room. There are, Carbon dioxide, Carbon monoxide, and nitrogen oxides and some sulfur oxides in the exhaust gas. It should never be allowed to be released next to the balcony of the hotel room. This is like soot blowing of a boiler or generator right next to your window. See photo attached with exhaust gas going out next to balcony causing even carbon particle cumulation on the wall..
