DO NOT STAY HERE!!
This hotel was absolutely AWFUL!!! The moment we pulled in the parking lot & saw the caution tape blocking the driveway to the door, I was worried. I had to park my truck next to a giant storage container in the back. When we made it inside, it was hot in the lobby and the incense smell was very strong. The elevator was filthy, the hallway to our room had bubbled up carpet that was torn in multiple places, and ceiling tiles that were broken and just dirty. Our room was ok for the most part, but the toilet seat was cracked and the shower floor tiles were in desperate need of replacement. When we went back outside to unload the rest of our things, we saw that the back door had a sign that stated “keycard needed for entry” did NOT need a keycard because you could just pull it right open. Breakfast was good but the staff was rude. When we were leaving for our first game, I spoke to housekeeping and exchanged our dirty towels for fresh ones and let them know we did not need anything else. I placed the do not disturb sign on the door as we left because I do not like anyone going in my room while I’m away. When I returned a few hours later, I walked in to see a rollaway bed in my room. The front desk could not explain why it was there. If we could have canceled this stay, we would have! Holiday Inn should be ASHAMED to have their name on this building. Very disappointing. We return to Houston in May and I had booked here, but canceled that stay as soon as we walked in our room!!!!!!
