Family Trip at Westin
I had a fantastic stay at the Westin Resort at Stonebriar, with top-notch amenities, friendly staff, and a comfortable room—until check-out left a sour note.
From the start, check-in was smooth and welcoming. Tanner at the front desk was friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel truly valued as a Titanium member. The room itself was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable. The hotel was peaceful and relaxing, which made for a great stay.
The gym was spacious, clean, and stocked with state-of-the-art equipment, making it easy to get a good workout in. The weekend buffet was excellent, offering a great variety and quality. However, the weekday menu didn’t quite measure up, though the service remained friendly and attentive.
Every employee I encountered was warm, engaging, and made me feel welcome.
Unfortunately, my excellent stay was marred slightly by my experience at check-out. Amber, the staff member at the front desk, was short-tempered and dismissive when I requested a late check-out—a standard benefit for Titanium members. Without reviewing my account or acknowledging my membership status, she abruptly declined my request. We also had two rooms, and since one already had breakfast included, we asked if we could apply the Titanium benefit to the second room. Again, without checking, she shut it down.
