The rooms are nice and clean for the price, but the customer service has gotten worse in the last year or so. I've come here several times for the past 3 years for biz and it's the same problem w/ the shuttle every time. While the hotel is only 2 miles away from the airport, it's always taken 45 mins to and hour to get picked up. They try to tell you it's b/c airport traffic is heavy and the driver has to collect/drop off people at other terminals. That is not entirely correct, while one lane is typically slow, the other two lanes of traffic move steadily. I watch shuttles from Hilton, Wyndham, and Marriott hotels circled through 3-4 times to get guests while the Red Carpet front desk people are arguing w/ me on the phone about the traffic. This was my last visit b/c the people at the front desk were rude about everything I asked about. And the overnight guy doesn't even want to engage w/ guests when they come up for a questions. He just waves you off and tells you to read the sign on the door, before you can get your question out. The employees had a cavalier attitude about helping guests. It seemed like they'd rather be somewhere else than to deal w/ us. So prepare to wait for an hour after you deplane and don't bother calling the front deal unless you wanted to deal with someone's funky attitude. Or you could save yourself the hassle and book at one of the other hotels.
