They host a weekly margarita night that we weren't aware of. Even through earplugs and the air conditioner in the room running I could still hear the music from upstairs. I asked the staff if they could turn it down even just a little bit so that I at least couldn't feel the vibrations through the floorboards and they did, but it immediately turned it back up 5 minutes later. The sign in the lobby says music will be turned off at 9:45, a staff member told me 10 when I asked, and ultimately it was turned off at 10:45 after I went downstairs to ask a second time. Ran into another couple upstairs who were also annoyed by it, and just pacing the hallway together unable to sleep. Fun event, but I am sure there is a way to schedule this better so that it doesn't so negatively impact anyone wanting to sleep. Or at the very least, adhere to the music cutoff time advertised.
It is a shame to leave a negative review because up until this point we were really enjoying our stay. The property is kept really clean, the common area is great, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. All that said though, the primary purpose of booking accommodation is so that you have somewhere to sleep while you're away from home, so if they can't provide that, it's a big miss.
