We were hiking a section of the CDT and came off early. We asked to drop our backpacks off before hiking 6 miles to retrieve our car at a trailhead. We were told we couldn't leave them because of liability issues. Finally talked them into being able to leave them outside the cabin we would have for the night. Have never had the experience of not being able to store bags for a couple hours at a lodge or hotel.

2/10 Poor

Don't go.
Cabin was extraordinarily noisey. When we asked the front desk the told my husband maintenance recommended that they not rent out our cabin. We asked for more information and they told us the manager want in. They then sent someone over who turned some machine under the cabin off. Tried to call manger and hotel numerous times and have a text saying they don't answer phones while music is playing. I have video and pictures. Won't go back.

The initial room was small with a TV that wasn’t working. They upgraded me to a much nicer room which worked out great. Very nice place and staff. I plan to return.

The Grand Lake Lodge never disappoints - we have been coming for years and each and every visit is wonderful! The staff and the restaurant make for an extremely enjoyable stay - and of course the View!

Felt that the total cost for the quality of the cabin room (with additional payment for room cleaning for a pet) was too much. The lodge is beautiful with all the flowers!

Historic Weekend Getaway
Highly recommend anyone looking to stay with Grand Lake Lodge. Not only is there historic value but it is secluded, peaceful, and beautiful. The staff are outstanding as well as the amenities and access to the main town of Grand Lake. Highly recommend staying and will return in the future

This place is historic and quaint. The staff is very customer focused and attentive. I met so many people from across the country here who were very nice and friendly. I definitely will be back. I forgot to mention that their food and cocktails are wonderful.

The location and views of the lake were stunning. Having drinks on the lower terrace at sunset, warmed by the fire, will be something to remember. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our half-cabin room was clean and comfortable. We slept well and it was nice and quiet at night, even with the windows open to the cool mountain air. The cabins are a little cramped (the shower a little uncomfortably so), but I don't think there's much to be done about that given the historic nature of the cabins. I'd consider the price a little high only for the room, but worth it given the location, views, grounds, staff, etc.

Hospitality, food, swimming pool, hot tub and the lodge was awesome. The grounds of all the viewing areas was great. Little pricey for size of rooms but cozy. The young man at the check in desk from England was excellent. We will be returning again, thank you 😊 🙏.
