The hotel is lovely as it is brand new, but it felt like it wasn't quite finished and it felt disorganised. We could tell the room had not been used before, it was basic but adequate with a nice bathroom, all very modern and clean. One of my gripes was that we didn't have our towels changed apart from when i went to request new ones halfway through the stay, the room was not cleaned while we were there and our bin was overflowing.
The food was really nice but because of covid the food had to be served by the staff, you have to wait for an available waiter then they walk you round with a trolley for the food, you could have whatever you wanted but by the time you'd been to each counter and got your drinks etc, the hot food was cold. At certain times the queue was long so we had a frustrating wait a few times. The staff were however excellent in the dining room and the food was good and varied.
Some of the staff were very young and seemed quite inexperienced, in particular the young man on reception was very polite but appeared bored and disinterested. When we checked in he told us nothing, we got lost trying to find our room and he was reluctant to leave his desk, we also requested a change of room as we had paid for a sea view and our room was overlooking the snack bar, he came back and said the hotel was full which was not true when we arrived.
A lovely hoteIt its a shame because covid affected some of the services and the hotel felt a bit chaotic because it is so new
