Very nice resort
I spent five days in this resort, at the end of April / beginning of May.
The resort is a really nice property, well planned and mostly very well kept. The property is huge, and expect to climb a lot of stairs! There is a shuttle bus which can save you from some of the stairs though, if you prefer to use it. I didn’t , as I prefered not having to wait 20 minutes for the shuttle bus to take me to my room.
I had a nice room, with a nice balcony, fantastic view and a private pool. The pool was just perfect, - to chill my champagne.! It’s not at all heated, and if I knew how freezing cold the water is, I would rather booked a room without.
I would expect a five star resort to provide possibility to iron a shirt or two. It didn’t. I had to deliver them to the laundry service and pay for getting them ironed. They said it was for security reasons, which is if course nonsense! (What about all the other three, four and five star hotels offering this facility, - are they all unsecure and dangerous?!)
Next to the reception there is a kiosk looking more like a two star kiosk by the beach, but for six star prices. And because the property is a bit aside any other shops, you may need to use it. The breakfast was very decent - as it should be in a five star resort.
The service is rather mediocre, as there is not enough waiters to serve the actual amount of guest. It’s not the waiters fault, they seemed very occupied, and are doing their best. There is simply not enough of them.
