I stayed at the hotel for one night for 2 reasons:
1) price is good comparable tomatier hotels
2) the pod saves a lot of time
BUT I have experienced the unfriendliest conduct at the check out. I checked-in on the 30th of August 2023 and the process was quite ok, by two Indian receptionists. When I checked out on the next day, there is one male receptionist (I checked out between 09:30-09:50, just to make you know which worker has served me, he did not wear any name shield on the cloth so I cannot complain on the persons name), showing his unfriendly face like someone owes him money and I told him: check out please, he literally said “ok bye”. Then I asked him for the information of the pod, he was quite inpatient and said: look at the poster behind you. So I asked him for ticket information, meanwhile I also was looking at Uber. Then he was like: so you take Uber or pod? Me: I asked your information first and did not get any answers, could you please tell me the duration of the pod and where to go.
Finally I bought a ticket for the pod because it’s really time saving and convenient but it is not acceptable for being treated like this as a customer. I am Asian and I have the impression he is discriminating against me.
I am not seeking to any compensations, I just want the hotel manager to put an eye on the “conduct education towards to ALL KIND OF COSTUMERS”. Pls also try to speak English with no accent, not everyone is understanding English in that way.
