My staying in Paris was lovely. It was a business trip, so I was busy the whole day. The city is amazing. Unfortunalety, I cannot say the same about the hotel.
It is actually a nice building and a lovely location. In the near, there are plenty of cafés and restaurants; also, there is the metro connection, e.g., line 11, 5, and several others. It is extremely easy to reach the Charles de Gaule airport, for there are easy connections between subway and RER.
The dowside of the hotel is that it is simply very poorly maintained and the staff seems to have no training at all to receive tourists and international guests. Except for some very nice staff personel, the rest seemed to be totally uninterested to be working there, and this creates the atmosphere of bad will.
The cleaning is not good, there were layers of dust on the furniture, a really bad made patch of the sealing, the toilett was also not properly cleaned.
Worst of all: the hotel has only free internet in the hall. To have internet access in the rooms, one has to buy a card, which allows only for a limited amount of hours in the internet. Now, this I find incomprehensible, given the fact that other places around, including cafés and restaurants, they all offer free internet.
