We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. A highlight of our visit was being assigned conjoined rooms when we booked two, without even having to ask — a thoughtful touch that I truly appreciated. However, I couldn’t give the hotel a full 5-star rating due to some areas that could use improvement.
The check-in area felt a bit dated and in need of some care, as the walls showed signs of wear. In our room, the bathroom door was squeaky and difficult to close properly, which caused unnecessary noise, especially during the night or early morning. While much of the room’s décor seemed updated, the textured walls, popcorn ceilings, and doors still had an outdated appearance, making it seem like renovations were only partially completed.
The breakfast area was pleasant but could benefit from better attention to restocking items. For example, cream cheese, frozen waffles, and certain yogurt flavors (like peach) ran out and weren’t replenished during my breakfast time.
This is not a negative review, but an honest assessment of the property. We enjoyed our stay, found the staff to be friendly, and felt the hotel was a good value for our needs. With a bit more attention to updates and detail, it could easily earn a higher rating.
