This hotel seems to be new, and not quite finished (for example, there is no sign with the name of the hotel anywhere. In fact, I asked at the reception of the hotel for directions to the hotel because I thought I was lost). The staff is super friendly, but speaks only Spanish. The cabins are cheaply built, and have enough cracks to let insects enter your room. The AC works, but there is no hot water. The included breakfast is ok, but beware of large tour groups which will clear the buffet if you're not there early enough. The hotel is a bit outside of La Fortuna (a 10min walk). There is supposedly a really nice view of Arenal (it was cloudy the whole time so we couldn't verify that). You can observe lots of birds in the direct surroundings of the hotel.
