This hotel is exactly what I suppose you would expect for $60 a night. The building is ran down and smelled heavily of incents. We walked in to an empty front desk, after ringing the bell and waiting a few minutes, an employee came to check us in. Not very professional and definitely lacking in customer service, but not rude. We walked into a run down room. While it was clean enough, the furniture was damaged and stained and the bathroom was outdated and old. The heavy smell followed us in the room and honestly it was just unpleasant. We ultimately decided to ask Expedia for a refund since we booked through them. They were extremely unhelpful and ultimately said we needed to speak with the hotel, which we were trying to avoid since our experience that far had not been great. The hotel ended up called our room after receiving a call from expedia regarding our request and offered to move us to a different room. I declined as I didn't think another room would be much better. The employee then said we needed to come to the front desk and speak with the manager. At that point, we gathered our things and went to the front desk as instructed. When we got to the front desk, we could hear someone on speaker phone in the office screaming at the employee. After a few minutes of waiting, the same employee came back out and took our keys and said the manager would wait on an email from Expedia to possibly refund us. No manager and no refund. We decided to eat the $60 and book elsewhere.
