The perfect holiday!
We had trouble to find the entrance to the parking lot, we knew how to get there by foot but we couldn't find the road leading up to the place. So we left our car close to the cathedral and walked to the B&B to check in. Then we explained that we couldn't find the road leading up to the house. Our host was so helpful that she drove us to our car so she could show us the right way. When we arrived we were very tired and our host asked if there was anything we would like to eat or drink. We had ice cold water in her beautiful living room and we felt so welcome! :) She knew some English but with the help of Google Translate we could communicate. The room was fully equipped with everything we needed and the air conditioning worked fast and well. The breakfast was perfect, we could choose between many things and we chose the toast which were very tasty! Birds, butterflies, lizards and cats visited us during the breakfasts! Eating breakfast in such a beautiful setting surrounded by mountains, a view over Palermo with a glimpse of the sea and a wonderful garden is amazing! We felt safe thanks to the gate and the guard dogs. So to sum it all up - we had a cozy stay for a small amount of money! The village of Monreale is a perfect place to stay for a romantic trip!
