There was no air conditioning. The ad did not reflect that, but said there was a fan. I thought that was in addition to the air but no there was none. When I asked first they went to look for the remote control, then said it was broken, and finally that our room rate did not include it. When we tried to upgrade they said no rooms were available. They suggested turning off the lights to cool it down. It was 85 degrees. Since we were on the first floor opening the door meant that anyone walking by could see in, or indeed walk into our room since it was on the pool walkway. I did out of desperation open the door and after getting bitten by mosquitoes twice I closed it. There was a security light right outside the room which lit the room through the sheer curtains. The Wi-Fi didn’t work so we couldn’t use our equipment and the tv didn’t work since the signal was so weak that there was no service on it. The bathroom door didn’t close because the door hit the frame. In addition there was no mechanism inside the door to latch it shut so you could not keep the door shut. The restaurant only offered 2 choices for dinner. We could not check in until 3:30. We did leave our suitcases there, but our bathing suits were in them so even though we were told we could use the pool we could not. In addition the location is in a place dominated by commercial building supply companies. The pool was nice and they had nice tiles in the lobby
