Horrible customer service ! Wow !
I arrived to this hotel with my work bag at approximately 3:30 pm . There was no one in reception , i pushed the bell on desk , no one .
I had a conference meeting at 4:00 pm so i needed to be settled . I started calling hotel, no answer , i then called customer service and started to tell the operator that i had been waiting for ten minutes . A voice from the door popped out and started screaming at me that it has not been 10 minutes ! And there’s only 3 of them working there and i should understand .
I then told her that i was worried about room location from reviews.. she then went on a rampage ! Started yelling that if i didn’t like it to go somewhere else ! That i obviously stayed there because the other hotel is too expensive !
And to tell her if im staying or not ! By this point , i had missed my meeting .. and she said its $250 for incidental security !
I have never ever been verbally attacked like that in a hotel reception .. the only reason i stayed was because it was the closest hotel to UCONN where my daughter attends and the other hotel was $500+ for a Wednesday night .
Breakfast included - consisted of Walmart wrapped mini muffins and coffee machine .
