We spent two nights at Domus Libera this past week and had an amazing stay. I could have stayed for a month! First, the hotel is in an unsuspecting alley right behind one of the most traversed streets in Rome and very close to Piazza Venezia. Therefore, it is super convenient to all the major tourist sites, if you want to see them, such as the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. Second, we were upgraded to a superior room and it was wonderful. The room was so large with a king size bed, as well as a sofa bed. Everything about the room was warm, comfortable, and welcoming. Breakfast (amazing!) and coffee (Nespresso) in the room were provided. The staff was excellent as well. They were constantly in contact via Whatsapp and onsite from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm daily. We arrived after the staff left for the night, but we were able to check in on our own and had no issues. In addition, the staff were truly accommodating, taking care of my medicine that needed to be refrigerated and my ice pack which needed to stay frozen. They arranged for car service to/from the airport. We had no issues coming or going. I would absolutely stay here again. The cost of the room would have been worth it, either way, whether we had been upgraded or not, as the hospitality was exactly what we could have hoped for. April and Pauline were great hosts! Oh, I wanted to add that the rooms look just like the pics online. We loved the exposed wooden beams, warm temps, and luxurious bathroom!
