The Domus Liberius is an incredibly central place in Rome that was so safe and cozy! The rooms feel like an apartment, which is very home-y. And the staff were always so kind and helpful! Would absolutely stay here again!!

The first half of my stay with them was really great. The room view, the full bed, the service, all amazing. Christina was very nice. My second half returning to this location, I would say average. The room was situated right near the area of all the cleaning products; items used by the cleaning service were laid out in the hall by our room. There were sandals laid out in that same area. Once I got to the room, it was decent with a view. However the twin beds are awful. I could feel the bed frame through the mattress. I pretty much felt like I was sleeping on the ground. Please change the mattresses. I woke up with my neck and back hurting. The pillows weren’t great either. Thankfully I had a travel pillow so I used that. The shower area had black spots which kind of creeped me out (hopefully not mold). The next morning I could hear the cleaning people in the hallway, it woke me up and was hoping to sleep in a little. Would I stay here again, possibly. But I would have to request the room that I stayed in the first half. Definitely avoid the twin beds.

I was traveling solo and stayed here in a small single bed room for 6 nights. My view from the window was not good, but that didn’t bother me so much. Bed was comfortable, water pressure was good, safe was easy to use, close to the train station and within walking f distance of several sites. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. The only issues I had were people being out in the common area late at night, and that can hardly be blamed on the facility.

After finding the secret door, we entered into a secure and clean foyer and were greeted warmly by the tenants. Rooms small, but comfortable and with fabulous views. Our 15 min walk to the Colosseum was easy and broken up by shops, restaurants, and views. The walk from Roma Termini was 10 min and simple. Would recommmend.

It was a bit confusing checking in as we arrived late in the evening. A very nice young couple helped us get in to the building etc. Cristina was very helpful and friendly.The room was clean but would prefer soap or shower gel rather than shampoo packets.The safe was a little difficult to use and our refrigerator wasn’t that cold but air conditioner worked great! Would have preferred coffee vs espresso.

The woman that helped us out was great. The hotel room itself was scratched up and did not look cleaned thoroughly. There was marks all over the floor and walls. It looked as if the shower head was drilled into the wall, then re drilled into another spot. They were doing construction right outside our door which was so loud when we tried to nap. The woman that helped us through WhatsApp said they would stop work, but they didn’t. Maybe I got the worst room, but it was rough. Also not your typical hotel, it seemed like there were businesses or other apartments in the building walk up. The elevator wouldn’t work if someone on one of the floors left the door open, so we had to walk up 4 flights a few times. Overall a huge disappointment. But again, the woman that helped us at the desk was awesome so I feel bad leaving this review.
