This is one of the hidden gems of Barcelona - we totally lucked out on this hotel. I was going to give a much longr review because they deserve it but I maxed out at 1500 characters. So here goes short but sweet: perfect location, arguably the most strategic location in all of Barcelona, 2-3 blocks from 3 of the main areas of interest without being in a very touristy street. Staff was super kind and welcoming. The room was awesome - I booked the Junior Suite for 3 to accommodate my daughter and it was spacious, beautiful and clean - and then we opened the curtains and discovered the room had a massive private outdoor terrace. From the pictures online, I thought the terrace was a shared space because it was so big, but it's all yours! Amazing to sit out there for coffee or a drink during a hot July. Insider tip: I originally hesitated to book because the reviews on Expedia were fantastic, but on another platform the ratings were so-so; I then figured out that the reviews on the other platform were from before 2018. During checkout, I found out that the hotel had been purchased in the meantime and the new owner had put a tremendous amount of effort in repositioning and service. I'm about to run out of space, but let me make this easy - BOOK IT AND THANK ME LATER, this place rocks. I will definitely be staying here again if I come through Barcelona again above. Thank you to the staff that took such kind care of us, we had a fantastic time in Barcelona thanks in big part to you!
