Nice location on the beach of Whitefish Lake. However, only the few (expensive) rooms directly facing the lake are nice, all (!) other rooms, including those labelled "partial view" face a noisy / busy road, a busy parking lot, a very noisy huge aircon unit, or a combination of the above. In the annex building across the street only the few rooms not facing street / parking lot are acceptable in terms of view / noise, at least to European standards. My room was not very clean - dust, filth and rubbish under the bed, dust on furniture here and there. A hint to the maid did not help - very brief housekeeping service, clearly untrained staff. In the restaurant, 4 waitresses were unable to efficiently handle 10 occupied tables for breakfast, causing confusion and delays (not only once but on many days). Very nice beach bar with good drinks but disappointing food. Great marina. Small good spa with a great massage therapist (Jason), although expensive. In summary, only worth it if you can secure the right room and close both eyes on the shortcomings to even average hotel standards. Definitely NOT value for money.
