I should have asked
A person showed me the room and how to turn the TV on and left. I'm almost 80 and the room was on the 3rd floor (?) - top floor. That won't happen again.

20th Century hotel in 2024
Very old rooms with a mismash of furniture and room items. We were on the third floor, no elevator, steep steps, and difficulty in finding the room. But, it was fairly priced and the restaurant was quite good. They also have an arrangement with a local cafe that pays for most of your breakfast.

Charming, clean & friendly
This was a lovely historic inn with a nice bar and restaurant on the main level. Service from the staff was prompt and friendly, including coming up to our 3rd floor (no elevator) room in the old section where the only heat/cool control was in the hallway & locked, to adjust it to our liking. Breakfast vouchers were included for the delicious diner down the street. Easy parking behind the inn. Just be aware that it can be a long walk to your room, troublesome if you have a lot of luggage.

My room had lots of charm and was quite comfortable. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, however. Overall a nice stay at a great price.

The restaurant and the Inn did not disappoint. It’s an old Inn from 1751 but the rooms are large, bed comfy and the staff is lovely. The food was superb. We had two lovely meals. Despite of the restaurant being below the rooms, it was relatively quiet and very quiet after 10 pm.

2/10 Poor

The room that I've got, wasn't the one I paid for. After 10pm there is no Receptionist in the Hotel. I was in Room 209, but in 210 were men, very loud, slamming the door all the time. I couldn't sleep; But the worst part- I was scared. Who would I call, if these men were dangerous? Horrible night! I will never come back to stay.

A Fabulous Stay
Our Family stay was excellent! We were able to visit many sights within a 20 minute ride. The staff, food, drinks and rooms were A+and some. The historical genre was all over the Inn and Fabulous. I will be back with my sister and her husband soon and bring mine as well! Thank You for a great stay. The Restaurant and Bar are A+. The vouchers for the fabulous breakfast right up the street are priceless because the breakfast is excellent!!
