The property is a gorgeous Edwardian style building with truly amazing features. It is unique and charming and especially the female staff at reception, bar and restaurant was amazingly helpful and friendly. The building's stunning interior alone is worth a visit. The rooms however are dated and wer clean but one didn't dare look too closely. The bed felt like a "sack of potatoes in a hammock", the shower hose was leaking so badly that the surroundings got soaked, the lavatory was not cleaned and there was no brush for the guests to clean it themselves either (I hate dirty toilets!), and also the interior of the room overall was verybold and worn, like the headboard was seriously worm, the lamp shade damaged, the pillow cases stained. It really was 2 star at best. BUT the staff (especially at the restaurant!!!) was super sweet and helpful and well... the house itself is so absolutely gorgeous that I would visit again. The location is fabulous with two underground stops and bus stops in easy walking distance and lots of dining options in the vicinity.
