The hotel has upscale facilities and our room was clean, which is very positive. Our first impression of the room was accordingly great.
Unfortunately, our Expedia status was not initially taken into account at check-in. This was only taken into account upon request, which is very unpleasant for all parties.
However, the room upgrade turned out to be a flop because the room was incredibly loud until late at night due to the loud banging from the ceiling (maybe we were directly under the gym or the roof terrace, I don't know what exactly, but it was very loud).
A hotel of this standard should be able to take appropriate structural noise protection measures.
