"Having stayed at this hotel before, we booked 3 rooms at this hotel for our family trip to Munich. Upon check in we were not informed that the air conditioning was not working for the entire hotel. After speaking to front desk the next morning, learned that it would not be fixed during our 4 night stay. It is conveniently located near the main train station, but the area becomes a bit sketchy especially after dark."

"The hotel Steve is very flexible and very nice. The hotel is clean. We had a junior suite which was spacious, bed was very comfortable."

"This staff were all super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb. I never saw my husband eat so much for breakfast in 43 years. He gained a much needed 5 pounds and I'm sure it was the breakfasts! But the pool is a must experience as it is like swimming in a grotto. Also loved the proximity to Central train station to easily travel for site-seeing."

"The employees were friendly and helpful. The housekeeping service was efficient and we were surprised with a free bottle of water every day. The bartender made us feel welcome. Location was close to our tours and the hop on hop off bus and main train station. We walked to dinner every night. The bathrooms were clean plus the water pressure and lighting were good as well. Would stay there again!!"

"There was a parking deck on the property, but it cost $30 per night. We had a very pleasant stay overall. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the location was excellent. We were able to walk to all of the main shops, restaurants, and attractions, which made exploring the area very convenient. The breakfast was also very good, with a nice selection and a great way to start the day. The only downside was the air conditioning in our room. We reported the issue three separate times during our stay, but unfortunately it was never resolved. As a result, the room became quite warm and stuffy, and we ended up sleeping with the window open each night just make sure you get a rim on the court side because straight side was very noisy. Despite the air conditioning issue, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness, helpful staff, and outstanding location. With better attention to maintenance concerns, this hotel would easily deserve a five-star rating."

"Hotel was really well located for everything, very clean, had everything you needed, very good brand of shower gel etc, breakfast was excellent, room very comfortable, bedding was clean & fresh, receptionist that I dealt with on arrival was excellent, room wasn’t ready but I could drop off my bag, very helpful, would recommend staying here, would definitely stay again."

"Had the best experience at the Platzl hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful. They were truly accommodating and made our stay easy. Amenities were modern and comfortable. The location is central to all old town Munich landmarks, but also close to the rest of the city and the airport. It should be mentioned the breakfast buffet was incredible-wide variety of food and it was all delicious."

"Very convenient for commuting during trip."

"Close to the train station but on a quiet street. Very clean and comfortable rooms with air conditioning"
