Nice Valentine’s weekend getaway
We were greeted by a nice valet named Dorian and then a wonderful front desk receptionist, Alyssa who gave us top notch customer service. Loved our suite and the location. Minor issue-the pool/jacuzzi weren’t heated at the main pool but we enjoyed those amenities at their other pool/spa. Overall, a very nice stay.

Overall a good stay. Checkin went smoothly and staff was friendly and welcoming. Rooms are a good size and beds are comfortable. The hotel property is old but not bad. The rooms definitely need renovating, lots of ware and tear, and broken elements. The surfaces in the room were not clean nor disinfected.

My room wasn't ready at check-in and delayed for 1 hour but other than that I was happy with the cleanliness and atmosphere of the hotel. The restaurant service was excellent and friendly and we hope to come back again.

Just say nope
We had an unfortunate stay there. There’s a lot to get into, but I would say there’s so many other nicer places to stay within Palm Springs and Palm Desert. One of the things that really bothered me was they play canned music all day until the night through very terrible speakers.

The hotel was nice. My main complaint was you pay so much to stay there that they actually charged you to park there. NOT VERY COOL, well just my opinion.

The staff was super nice. The property was run down. The pictures and the actual resort looked like two different resorts! The room was also very musty smelling when we checked in. The tub was peeling and appeared dirty. There were scuff marks all over the walls, we even found an old balloon in the closet! One of the lights in the bathroom vanity was not working. I was shocked at the lack of cleanliness considering the price of my stay. We booked the resort for 2 nights and actually left early and went to a neighboring hotel because the room quality was horrible.

Servers that made you feel like family
I had a tough year and wanted the blue sky and sun in Palm Springs. I stayed at the Riveria years before and had a good time and this time it was even better. The hotel was empty for a guest that was great two days we literally had the pool to ourselves - the staff were so genuine and friendly it was a treat - especially the servers - Jose - Denise - Thaina and Vanessa all were outstanding they made us feel like family. We actually had all our meals at the hotel because of them the good food and no wait reservations will be back again at some point

Still remnants of its Parrot head phase
Hotel room was clean and spacious and affordable. However, the hotel is in some sort of weird transition back to the Riviera from its Margaritaville phase. Decor has leftover parrot head theme. Will be interesting to see if they remodel? Need to ensure that there are pool towels as we called a few times and they didn’t bring any.

I had to stay here because I was evacuated due to the fires. This place was not clean and there were ants all over the hotel. My first night there I woke up to them all over the lid to a jar that I left on the table. I moved rooms because of this, and then they were all over the second room as well. But I did not have any other options because a lot of people were evacuated. I would never stay here again, and would not recommend staying here to anyone!

Spa hot tub and waterfall tub were cold Limited staff , not sure because of winter season. Shower hot water was warm at best. Under new owner. We will see how and what they will do. Prices of rooms fare
