This is my second time here and I will say that unfortunately it will be my last. The frustrations I have with this place are really about value. This place just doesn’t provide the value for the stay. A few items that stand out:
1) I booked two rooms, one with a handicap accessible request made at booking. When I arrived, they not only did not honor the request, when I called they told me that “Hotels.com requests are simply requests and sometimes they get to them … sometimes they don’t.” While ultimately they accommodated, it was next day. And the switch in room created all sorts of fun for housekeeping.
2) the room I stayed in had dirty socks behind the table, someone’s power bank still plugged into the wall, and food stuck on the couch.
3) you pay a pretty hefty resort fee and there are limited benefits from it. The entertainment is limited to a projection of a movie in the pool room each night and yoga classes held once only on the weekend.
4) the breakfast place isn’t open most of the week.
5) the room service consistently forgets items and calling them to get them to bring things is like pulling teeth. They forgot two drinks of mine the first time and then tried to charge me for them all over again.
6) they don’t allow you to plug in a fire stick or any hdmi device. And they have zero guest apps for streaming. So fingers crossed you don’t end up in a room with limited WiFi because the chromecast feature they have is unreliable at best.
7) no microwave.
