This was a last-minute booking, and I saw it online with one price, I called the hotel to see their price and found out it was higher, and they wouldn't honor the online price, which was a bummer. Then I asked if they offer government prices, and right away, the answer was no! Not let me find out or anything else.
When I got to the hotel under the terrible weather, I was informed that the Air Conditioning had broken down that morning, I got there at 530pm, it was something they could have said over the phone when I first called.
when I got to the hotel and was told all of this, I asked what the hotel would be willing to do for me if I chose to stay. The young lady behind the counter didn't have an answer at all, many guests had checked out or canceled their reservations because of the AC not working. I had a long day of travel and was super tired. I asked where their parking was since their site said parking was provided. She told me was down the street and I had to pay for it! I asked since I was staying at the hotel which had no working AC, if they would pay for my parking, she told me she had to call her boss and ask which would be around 800pm.
Then I got to my room and noticed that it had no fridge, it felt dirty, and the plumbing wasn't working correctly. Then I went back to the front counter, pulled up a picture from the website, show her the picture to compare it to the actual room, it looked nothing like the website. Extremely disappointed.
