The room was 2 hours from the airport and difficult to find because there wasn’t a sign or anything to let you know where it is. I reserved a room with air conditioning, a mini bar, an ocean view, a microwave, and continental breakfast. When I finally found it, the owner said he did not have a reservation for me, and said he had an empty room I could stay in. This room did not have air, an ocean view, a mini bar, or a microwave. I also never saw breakfast or any other meal. I stayed for 4 days sweating, starving and I had to take cold showers with a broken shower head. There were large dogs barking all night and loud music as well. Also, we paid for the room online and were told they did not get paid, so I had to go to an ATM to get money to pay, via roadside cab filled with strange men that looked pretty sketchy to say the least. The room was clean but everything else was cluttered and dirty. The owner was very nice, which helped. I would only recommend it to one of the locals who are used to those living situations.
